DOCYET ist eine auf das Gesundheitswesen spezialisierte Softwarefirma, die alle Akteure entlang der Patient:innenreise unterstützt. Unsere Mission: wegweisende Versorgung einfach und skalierbar zu machen.

Wir bauen hochkonfigurierbare Software für vielfältige Anwendungsfälle im Gesundheitswesen - von Krankenversicherungen über Krankenhäuser bis hin zu Arztpraxen. Unsere Web-Anwendung basiert primär auf Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, PostgreSQL und Redis. Unser hauseigenes Chatbot-Framework und Knowledge Graph entwickeln wir in Julia.

Dein Profil

Wir schätzen technische Kompetenz und Erfahrung im Lösen realer Probleme mehr als den perfekten Match mit unserem Tech-Stack.

Erforderlich:

Starke technische Grundlage, idealerweise Bachelor- oder Master-Abschluss in Informatik oder Software Engineering
Wohnsitz in Deutschland (remote möglich) oder Leipzig (hybrid)
Mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung mit Ruby on Rails oder 4+ Jahre als Backend Entwickler
Expertise in OOP, SQL, Datenmodellierung und Requirements Engineering
Fähigkeit zur Architektur neuer Features unter Abwägung von Performance, Wartbarkeit und Delivery-Geschwindigkeit

Wünschenswert:

Frontend-Kenntnisse (JavaScript, CSS/Sass) und UI/UX-Interesse
DevOps-Skills (Container, Pipelines)
Interesse an AI, Machine Learning oder funktionaler Programmierung

Design, Architektur und Implementierung neuer Features für unsere Plattform zur Entwicklung von Conversational Agents und Patient:innen-Workflows
Wartung und Verbesserung unserer bestehenden Software
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Entwicklungsteam und aktive Teilnahme an Scrum-Ritualen

Your new company and its mission

DOCYET is a healthcare-specialized software company that supports all actors along the patient journey. Our mission: making pioneering care simple and scalable.

We build highly configurable software to serve an array of use-cases and actors in the health-care system (insurances, hospitals, doctor clinics). Our web application is built primarily using Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, PostgreSQL and Redis. Our in-house Chatbot framework and Knowledge Graph is developed in Julia.

Your profile

We value technical competence and experience solving real-world problems over being the perfect match tech stack wise.

Required:

You have a strong technical foundation. Preferably, a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering
You are based in Germany (remote) or Leipzig (hybrid)
You have +2 years of experience developing with Ruby on Rails or 4+ years as a backend developer
You can model complex business domains and data relationships. You have a deep knowledge of OOP, SQL, data-modelling and requirements engineering in general
You can architect new features and solutions, weighing trade-offs in performance, maintainability and speed of delivery

Nice to have:

You have front-end skills (vanilla JavaScript, CSS or Sass). You care about UI/UX
You have DevOps skills (containerized applications, building pipelines)
You are familiar or curious about topics like AI, Machine Learning, Bayesian Networks, functional programming

What you'll do

Design, architect and implement new features for our platform to develop conversational agents and patient workflows
Maintain and improve our existing software
Work closely with the development team and actively participate in scrum rituals
